Makeup artist shopping for your big day? Here are some of my wedding makeup tips to share with you!
Wedding makeup and hair techniques or red carpet events require different products and application then your typical photo shoot or tv commercial shoot where we are there all day to conduct "finals" as we refer to them, basically touch ups between shots or takes.
Starting with skin, I like to start with a good makeup primer, followed by a foundation that has longevity. A lot of cosmetics companies offer long wear options or waterproof options, in blush, eyeliners, mascaras and lip colors, these will be your new best friend.
Makeup doesn't need to be heavy for longevity, you just need to use the right products. I think you should never feel like the makeup is wearing you, it should be an enhancement, bringing out your eyes for the photos, a little extra bronzer or blush to give you some color. Hair should be soft, not sticky in a style thats flattering for your face and in keep with the style of your dress.
Here are some of my favorite products:
1) Smashbox Photo Finish Primer
2) Face Atlelier Foundation
3) Cargo Long Wear Blush
4) Stila stay all day eye liner
5)Stila stay all day liquid lipstick
4) Clinique Water proof Mascara
